109. STAFF OF ALCOMBE COOP 1928 ish
Frank Stradling, far left who later became the manager of the new Coop in Quirke street about 1945 ( he was a full time fireman from 1939-1945 during WWII) and subsequently manager of the coop when it moved to Friday Street. around 1948/9 until 1952 when he and his wife took over the Fish and Chip business in Quirke Street and ran it extreemly sucessfully until 1962 Some of the staff were: Wilf Mockridge, Joyce Salter Mrs Sillett, Shirley Phillips and Judy Chamberlain.

IT MAY BE ST.TERESAS, GOING BY THE GYM SLIPS. DATE AROUND 1940 ?
I have been contacted by someone who was at St.Teresa's at that time and she says this is definately not St. Teresa's as they would all be wearing the school uniform. Also Kingsley Taylor took a full school photo in 1941 and everyone was in full school uniform, dispite the war.
The only other school I can think of that wore gymslips would be the grammer school ???
